Professional Dog Leg Support Brace

I appreciate that it's got four velcro fasteners (I've got the small) which mean is stays put on the dog. It's easy to take on and off (the only hard part is the squirming dog) and it stays put once it's on. It doesn't bother her at all which is also great.

Definitely always rely on reviews especially when I’m purchasing for my frenchie! She is my best friend so I only want the best for her! I bought a size small which was perfect my frenchie is about 28lbs. The brace definitely helped stabilize her leg but I didn’t like that she continued to chew off the Velcro straps, but she’s a dog it makes sense. I just had to watch her closely and continue to re Velcro the straps once she got tired of me doing this she kept it on. She was able to walk, play and be her normal self considering she had this brace on. Would recommend! The only thing I wish it had was some sort of stabilizers in the sides I think if it had that it would be perfect!

This hock brace fit my 20 pound chiwawa terrier mix perfectly and was easy to put on her. She seemed comfortable and did not fight it. Well constructed and just as described dog had an CCL injury and I noticed that many of the reviewers said they purchased the hock brace instead of the knee brace and it helped their CCL injured dogs.

Could have gotten the extra small. Worked well for what I wanted.

So far, it seems good. My pup had a dog park collision, that lead to some limping. He seems to do ok for a while, but starts limping again after hard play. 3 vets called it a muscle tear. It doesn't take 7 months to heal a muscle tear. I'm guessing a partial CCL tear, that can't fully heal. He is just too active. Torsional movement appears to be the culprit, whether during a slip or landing after a jump. Thanks to the reviewer, who recommended not to go off weight size. I also found the padding would twist around occasionally. My solution was to cross the top straps, and that seems to have worked. I'm hopeful. Will follow-up.
